Erik
Claussen,
took over the management of Garden Enterprises after
his fathers’ death in 1992. During this time Erik grew the
sod-farming operation and developed the company into a reputation
as “the best quality and most reliable lawn suppliers”
in the region. When the company was transformed and re-named ECO
Creations Landscapers, Erik took the helm as the Managing Director.
His open minded vision and gentle nature has been an asset not
only in the running of the company but in the landscaping industry
itself. |

Dave
Barrett,
a horticulturist joined the company at the inception of ECO Creations
and brought to the company his solid experience, founded on projects
such as The Lost City and the De Zalze, and Umthali Golf Courses.
Dave's passion is for “Trees” and alongside a dedicated
team, has established a thriving Tree Farm at Eco’s home base,
Vredenburgh Farm in Somerset West. When Dave is not overseeing the
Domestic landscaping side of the business, he is to be found on
various sites transplanting and planting trees with his specialised
equipment. |

Grant
Barrett,
like his brother, a horticulturist, joined the company a year later
in 1999. His addition to the fold completed the company’s
expertise with his knowledge and experience in irrigation designs
and systems. Grant has the mammoth task of also overseeing the “Commercial
Division” and with his determined and systematic approach
to his profession he has gained the utmost respect from his clients,
counterparts and suppliers alike.
